We’re sitting at the dining table, a world map stretched across the surface, passports resting nearby. My pen circles Barbados, then drifts toward Mauritius. Tomi leans in, her elbow brushing mine, and laughs softly, the kind of laugh that still makes my chest feel lighter.

“Barbados has the pink sands,” she says.

“And Mauritius has the lagoons,” I reply, tapping the map. Wouldn’t it be something if we could just spin the globe and let it decide?

That is the heart of our dream together, not just one trip, but a lifetime of them. To walk new streets side by side, to chase sunsets in corners of the world we have yet to imagine. Our honeymoon is only the beginning, Barbados or Mauritius first, then wherever love carries us next.
